The specialist acts as a central member of an interdisciplinary project team, bridging engineering, software development, and scientific disciplines from initial concept through to market-ready product. Day-to-day responsibilities include technical coordination, planning customer workshops, preparing project milestones, and acting as the primary liaison between client requirements and internal technological capabilities. The role requires hands-on involvement with prototypes, developing efficient test procedures, and deep diving into technical challenges across mechanics, optics, electronics, and thermodynamics to ensure optimal biochemical performance. Strong communication skills in both German and English are essential for success in this client-facing, technically diverse position.
