Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking overall responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the entire IT landscape within a leading European textile manufacturer. The Head of IT will manage the internal IT team, coordinate external service providers, and be accountable for the ongoing ERP implementation, including subsequent rollouts and user support. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient IT Service Management (Incident, Change, and Problem Management), steering IT projects related to infrastructure, applications, data protection, and IT security strategy, and managing the IT budget. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent experience, coupled with several years in a responsible IT role, ideally within a mid-sized company. Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Microsoft 365, and a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style are essential for driving the IT landscape forward in a practical, economic, and future-oriented manner.
