Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Materials Tester specializing in Metal Technology to join a team in Oberndorf am Lech, Germany. This role involves the independent execution of various testing and analysis tasks on metallic materials, focusing heavily on metallography and general materials testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing samples, conducting and supervising non-destructive testing (MT, PT, UT), and meticulously documenting all results. You will also be responsible for monitoring and approving manufacturing processes, and creating detailed procedural, work, measurement, and testing instructions, alongside compiling investigation reports. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification as a Materials Tester or Metallographer, possesses several years of professional experience in materials testing, and has strong skills in using optical and mechanical measuring equipment.
