Job Summary

This role involves supporting the administration and continuous development of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related information systems, ensuring data quality and seamless integration via interfaces. The Application Administrator will be crucial in coordinating geodata management, preparing, and updating spatial data, and creating system-spanning analyses and reports for the Technical Network Service division. A core responsibility is the conception, creation, and maintenance of automated ETL processes, including requirements management. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in Geoinformatics or Informatics, coupled with 2 to 6 years of professional experience in GIS administration. Expertise in ETL tools (like FME), object-oriented programming (e.g., Java), and database systems (including SQL) is essential. This permanent position offers hybrid work models and is based in Cologne, supporting a regional network operator specializing in electricity and gas distribution.
