Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Industrial Electrician specializing in power systems and plant technology, focusing on the maintenance and repair of critical energy infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on electrical power plant components and site infrastructure, specifically working on medium and low-voltage switchgear. A key technical requirement involves the programming and modification of PLC controls, particularly Siemens S5 and S7 systems. The successful candidate must hold a completed qualification as an Industrial Electrician, ideally with a focus on plant technology, and should possess knowledge of switchgear and control systems common in power plants. Completed apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician, preferably specializing in Plant Technology, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Experience in programming or adapting PLC controls (S5 and S7)
  • Ideally, experience in power plant control and switchgear systems
  • Ideally, switching authorization up to 30kV
