Job Summary

This role involves working as an Industrial Simulation Engineer for Airbus Helicopters, focusing on optimizing complex manufacturing and assembly processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating detailed simulation models for production flows, material handling, robotics, and assembly processes. Key activities include identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies through simulation analysis, deriving optimization recommendations, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including production engineers and IT specialists, to implement practical simulation solutions. Furthermore, the engineer will engage in technology scouting for new simulation methods and establish best practices and standards within the company. This position requires a background in engineering or computer science, professional experience in industrial simulation, and fluency in both German and English, ideally within the aerospace or high-tech manufacturing sector.

Completed degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience in the aerospace sector or comparable high-tech industry
  • Practical experience with standard simulation software (e.g., Siemens Plant Simulation, Arena, FlexSim, AnyLogic, Delmia Process Engineer)
