Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Software Developer for Frontend Test Frameworks, specifically supporting Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The primary focus is on designing and developing software for the Test and Simulation Framework (TSF), particularly its Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements, utilizing modern C++ standards. Daily tasks include simulation, implementation, rigorous unit testing, and conducting code reviews, while actively contributing to virtual engineering environments that mix simulation and real hardware. The developer will also provide 2nd Level rig support for existing test support systems like AIDASS / MaTE and the SI² simulation framework. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, several years of IT experience, and foundational knowledge of software architecture, system programming, and relevant frameworks. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on critical aerospace test support systems.
