Job Summary

RheinNetz GmbH, a regional network operator in the Rhenish region, is seeking a Master Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Technical Network Service division in Cologne. This critical role involves managing the integrated control center for electricity network operations and fault management. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving cross-sector customer faults, deploying mobile teams for resolution, and meticulously documenting all processes within the network and operational control systems. The professional will independently monitor the distribution network using the network control system, coordinate customer restoration measures during outages, and authorize or execute switching operations while maintaining continuous oversight of equipment and network utilization limits. The ideal candidate holds a Master Electrician or Technician qualification in Electrical or Energy Technology, possesses professional experience in network operation or management, and is proficient in German (Fluent). This position requires shift work, a high degree of responsibility, resilience, and strong independent work ethic.
