Job Summary

This role involves supporting the production and quality control of high-quality disposable sensors used globally in diagnostics and sports medicine, focusing specifically on lactate measurement. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory-based tests, measurements, and experimental series on single-use sensors. Key day-to-day tasks include the proper handling of chemicals and hazardous substances while adhering to safety regulations, operating standard laboratory equipment like balances, pipettes, and microscopes, and performing fine motor tasks such as precise dosing and sample preparation. A crucial component of the role is meticulous documentation of test results, measurement data, and laboratory protocols, alongside supporting quality controls, validations, and error analyses. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational qualification in a laboratory or natural science/technical field (e.g., CTA, BTA, Chemical Laboratory Technician) and possesses strong fine motor skills, reliability, and a quality-conscious, structured approach to work.

Completed vocational training in a laboratory or natural science/technical field (e.g., Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or comparable qualification)

Experience
