Job Summary
This challenging and innovative full-time, permanent position in the Cologne area requires an Electrical Design Engineer to independently manage the planning and creation of electrical schematics and control cabinet designs using EPLAN P8. Day-to-day responsibilities include the selection and dimensioning of electrical automation components—such as sensors, actuators, drives, and controllers—in close collaboration with mechanical design teams and suppliers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring project compliance with relevant electrical guidelines and standards, and generating all necessary technical documentation. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or an equivalent Technician qualification, combined with proven proficiency in EPLAN P8 and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
