This critical role, based in Cologne, involves serving as a Power Grid System Specialist responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of medium-voltage (MS) and low-voltage (NS) cable and overhead line networks. The specialist independently performs specialized assembly, switching, and commissioning/decommissioning tasks, ensuring meticulous technical documentation. A key function is coordinating, instructing, and supervising external contractors, taking on system responsibility according to DIN VDE 0105-100. Furthermore, the role requires rapid response to network disturbances, ensuring immediate damage control and restoration of power supply, and includes conducting regular inspections and monitoring of network assets. Ideal candidates must possess a background in electrical engineering, profound knowledge of grid operation processes, and familiarity with GIS-based tools, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
