Job Summary

This leadership role, based in Cologne, involves heading an engaged team responsible for the application management within the energy sector, focusing on securing the supply of energy and drinking water. The Team Lead will be instrumental in developing and implementing IT strategies, organizational structures, and processes within their area of responsibility. Key daily tasks include disciplinary team leadership, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, identifying qualification needs, and ensuring the team possesses the necessary competencies for building, operating, and developing IT solutions. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable field, coupled with significant professional IT experience, ideally including leadership. Experience with agile methodologies, project management (both classic and agile), IT service management (ITIL), and an understanding of energy utility business processes (planning, construction, maintenance) are crucial for success in this future-oriented environment.
