Job Summary

This role involves supporting critical research and development projects with a focus on metallurgy and corrosion. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, executing, and evaluating metallographic examinations and mechanical-technological tests on metallic materials, alongside planning and conducting specialized corrosion testing. The engineer will be crucial in analyzing and documenting test results according to strict internal and external guidelines, drafting comprehensive reports, and ensuring the maintenance and supervision of test rigs. Furthermore, the position requires coordinating material logistics within R&D projects and liaising with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners for sample production. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or Chemistry and possesses excellent written and spoken German and English skills, demonstrating a structured, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work.
