Job Summary

This role, based in Cologne, involves the operation and maintenance of building control systems, building automation, and network technology within the Central Services division. The technician will be responsible for monitoring building control systems, performing performance measurements, maintenance, repair, inspection, fault clearance, and repairing electrical control and switching devices. A core part of the job includes preparing, executing, and finalizing construction and optimization measures related to the building control and automation systems, specifically programming, modifying, and maintaining Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) programs. Key requirements include a professional qualification augmented by a Master Craftsman or Technician certification, specialized training in building automation, and several years of relevant professional experience, particularly with BacNet, M-Bus, and Modbus programming. The position requires strong technical comprehension and the ability to manage and participate in MCR projects, ensuring the safe energy and water supply for the region.

Experience

  • 2-6 years of professional experience in a relevant technical field
  • Professional experience in operating and maintaining building control and automation systems
