Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Server Administrator for a major client, Bayerischer Rundfunk, focusing on maintaining and evolving their server infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing 2nd-Level support, planning, configuring, and continuously monitoring the systems, and performing error analysis. A critical component of the job is ensuring IT security standards are met through system hardening and patch management, alongside creating and optimizing PowerShell scripts for system configuration and process automation. The ideal candidate must have a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or System Technician, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in server administration and relevant certifications like Microsoft MCSE.
