Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Measurement Technician or Hardware Development Assistant looking to contribute to innovative energy technologies, specifically within the development of photovoltaic inverters. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing comprehensive hardware tests in the laboratory, setting up necessary test peripherals, and designing required test electronics and adapters, including both hardware and software aspects. You will be crucial in supporting commissioning and type approval tests for electronic modules and complete systems. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, or a further qualification as a Technician/Master. Practical skills in soldering THT and SMD PCBs, routine operation of lab equipment (AC/DC sources and measuring devices), and basic programming knowledge are highly advantageous. This position offers challenging and varied tasks within a motivated team environment, backed by the stability of a Siemens subsidiary.
