Senior SAP Developer | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for a Senior SAP Developer to join GMH Systems GmbH, the IT backbone of the GMH Group, a leading climate-friendly steel producer in Germany. The core responsibilities involve the design, conceptualization, and implementation of complex SAP requirements utilizing technologies such as ABAP/4, ABAP OO, Web Dynpro, and Core Data Services (CDS). The developer will take a leading role in S/4HANA projects, focusing on optimizing and advancing existing SAP solutions while adhering to best practices. Collaboration is key, requiring close partnership with business departments, SAP consultants, and external partners within agile project teams. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or Engineering and several years of professional SAP development experience, coupled with deep expertise in ABAP, OData, and integration methods (IDoc, APIs). This position offers the chance to actively shape the IT landscape of a major industrial group transitioning to CO2-neutral production, requiring excellent communication skills and fluency in German.
