Job Summary

This role involves working as an R&D Scientist focused on advanced chemical synthesis, particularly within Nucleotide and Nucleic Acid Chemistry, located in Penzberg. The Scientist will be responsible for conducting complex chemical syntheses to provide sophisticated molecular structures for test development and early market supply. Key daily tasks include the characterization and evaluation of synthesized products using various analytical methods like NMR, HPLC, and MS, as well as operating complex physicochemical equipment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Organic Chemistry (Master's or PhD preferred but not mandatory) and possesses several years of professional experience in preparative chemistry. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, creativity in substance design, and the ability to maintain excellent documentation and cross-site communication within an international project team.
