Job Summary
This role is a full-time, permanent position within the Municipal Utility (Stadtwerke) of Seligenstadt, focusing on maintaining and expanding the city's electrical infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and new installation of street lighting systems, as well as general electrical installations within municipal buildings and facilities. A key part of the job involves conducting mandatory electrical inspections on equipment and buildings according to German safety standards (DGUV V3, VDE, DIN VDE). The position requires physical fitness for working outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting loads, working at heights (including aerial work platforms), and participating in both on-call duty and winter services. Candidates must possess a completed professional qualification in electrical trades, specifically in energy and building technology, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, PC proficiency, and a citizen-friendly demeanor.
