Job Summary
This role involves providing 2nd-level incident management and technical support for complex RedHat and CentOS server systems within the aerospace industry. The engineer will be responsible for the setup, installation, and operation of virtual and physical Linux servers (including HP Synergy, HP Blade Center, and HP 3PAR Storage). Key daily tasks include analyzing complex faults, executing problem management measures, participating in operative release management for core and radio networks, and performing change and configuration management. The ideal candidate requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant IT vocational qualification, coupled with fluent German and English skills, and strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and TCP/IP protocols. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize specialized server and network expertise within a leading international aircraft manufacturer.
