Citrix Infrastructure Specialist | Data Scientist

Job Summary

This role involves joining an agile team, based in either Linz or Vienna, focusing on the design, maintenance, and continuous development of the internal and external Citrix infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) applications and desktops across various security zones, implementing stringent security and hardening guidelines, and efficiently managing the lifecycle of incidents, service requests, and change requests. The specialist will also actively contribute to second-level support and collaborate on both on-premise and cloud services, specifically Active Directory (AD), Entra ID/Azure AD, and networking fundamentals. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT degree or technical qualification, coupled with several years of hands-on experience in Citrix operations and development, and must be prepared to take on recurring on-call duties.
