Job Summary
This field service role involves ensuring the reliable function of energy flows for industrial equipment, focusing specifically on traction batteries (both lead-acid and lithium-ion) and associated charging devices. The technician will perform autonomous inspection, maintenance, and repair work at customer locations around Koblenz, Mayen, and Neuwied. Key responsibilities include conducting DGUV V3 safety inspections, performing capacity and load tests, analyzing battery conditions, and executing cell replacements and various repair tasks. The ideal candidate must possess a technical background in electrical systems or automotive mechatronics, excellent technical understanding of electrical components, and a strong commitment to customer service and independent work in an external service capacity. This position offers a varied and technically engaging daily routine, contributing significantly to the operational readiness of customer forklifts and industrial trucks.

Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Automotive Mechatronics Technician (focus on System and High-Voltage Technology), Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Systems Installer
Experience
- Professional experience in battery technology, charging technology, or electrical maintenance (alternative to formal education)
- Experience in handling electrical components
