Job Summary

The Security Engineer will play a critical role in advancing cyber resilience within a leading regional telecommunications and network operator in Central Germany. This position focuses on developing and implementing a robust Cyber Security process framework based on national and international security standards, including KRITIS, BSI, and NIS2. Day-to-day responsibilities include operationalizing security policies, leading internal projects for process development within the Security Operations Center (SOC), and automating core SOC systems. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science or IT Security and possesses professional experience in the telecom and IT security sector. Expertise in implementing and operating SIEM, EDR, XDR, and NDR solutions, alongside comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructures, is essential.
