Business Development Manager | Life Scientist (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager to work in an international setting at the intersection of fundamental life science research and commercial application in Heidelberg. The primary focus involves scouting for new inventions and technologies, conducting thorough market research and value assessments, and actively assisting in the creation of new biotech/pharma start-up companies. Day-to-day responsibilities also include developing and maintaining customer relationships, preparing promotional materials, and negotiating and executing commercial agreements. The ideal candidate holds a degree in medicine or life sciences (BSc/MSc/PhD) or is a qualified Patent Attorney, coupled with at least three years of experience in relevant fields such as technology transfer, innovation management, or industry sales/marketing.
