Job Summary
This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance for products within the pharmaceutical and life science sectors, focusing heavily on chemical legislation. The specialist will be responsible for the classification and labeling of products according to CLP and GHS regulations, and for creating essential product safety data sheets and hazardous substance labels. A core component of the job is deep engagement with the SAP-EHS system, including data maintenance and the independent management of related sub-projects. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Chemistry or a related field, strong knowledge of chemical nomenclature and national/international chemical legislation (REACH, CLP, GHS), and advanced practical experience with SAP-EHS data management. This position offers a chance to work on challenging projects for renowned clients, ensuring regulatory adherence and contributing actively to expert committees.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in (Business) Chemistry, Biology, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical legislation (national, EU [REACH, CLP], international [GHS])
- In-depth practical experience in SAP-EHS data maintenance
- Experience with classification and labeling according to CLP-VO and UN-GHS
- Experience working in expert committees
