Job Summary
This role involves acting as a key interface between customers, stakeholders, and development teams to manage the entire requirements lifecycle for complex vehicle systems within the automotive industry. The Requirements Engineer will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and detailed documentation of requirements, ensuring consistency and traceability throughout the development process. Daily tasks include conducting requirements workshops, creating and maintaining specifications, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to implement and verify the requirements. This position is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in Requirements Engineering, specific knowledge of automotive development processes, and familiarity with tools like DOORS or Polarion, offering the chance to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions for major OEMs and suppliers.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering
- Professional experience in the Automotive sector (ideal)
- Foundational knowledge in requirements analysis and documentation
- Experience with relevant requirements tools and methods (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, SysML)
Languages
Additional
- Good German language skills (level B2+) are a prerequisite for the position.
