Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Software Packaging Specialist responsible for the creation, management, and distribution of software applications within enterprise networks. Day-to-day tasks involve utilizing specialized tools like InstallShield, AdminStudio, WiX, and SCCM to package software, automate installations and updates across both Windows and Linux platforms using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash), and ensuring reliable deployment. A core part of the job is rigorous testing, validation, and advanced troubleshooting of deployment issues to guarantee smooth operation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, at least two years of professional experience in software packaging, and strong knowledge of operating systems, Active Directory, and network management.
