Job Summary

This role involves planning and executing geometric measurements on production facilities, tooling components, aircraft structures, and components for Airbus in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. The Metrology Technician will utilize state-of-the-art Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), define measurement strategies and systems, process 3D CAD models for measurement tasks, and program measurement sequence controls. A key part of the job includes performing, evaluating, analyzing, and visualizing measurements, investigating the root causes of errors, and implementing corrective actions. The position requires a completed qualification as a Metrology Technician or Master Craftsman, coupled with several years of professional experience in surveying, laser measurement, and scanning systems, along with good CAD and advanced English skills.
