Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer, ideally specialized in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering, to join a dynamic team in Cottbus. The core responsibilities revolve around complex network analysis and planning using specialized software like PowerFactory. Day-to-day tasks include performing short-circuit and load flow calculations, conducting grid connection assessments for renewable energy generation systems (EEG), and verifying protection settings. The engineer will also determine the most economically favorable grid connection points, calculate necessary network expansion, and assess transmission capacities of equipment within substations and medium-voltage networks. Success requires a passion for technical and economic challenges, a proactive approach to process improvement, and the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively with both internal departments and external customers.
