Job Summary

This role in Cologne seeks an Industrial Electronics Technician to join a dynamic team focusing on the testing, maintenance, and prototyping of complex electrotechnical components. Day-to-day responsibilities include rigorous testing of new electrical parts, supporting internal commissioning processes, and managing spare parts inventory, specifically involving PCs, control panels, PLCs, frequency converters, and DC controllers. A significant part of the job involves testing advanced sensors, such as metal detectors, color/3D cameras, and X-ray generators/sensors. The technician will also be crucial in building prototype control systems and test setups, conducting warm-up procedures for electromagnets, and ensuring comprehensive documentation is created. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training in industrial electronics or an equivalent field, demonstrate a meticulous work ethic, and be fluent in both German and English. This position offers an immediate start via temporary employment with a planned permanent takeover by the client, providing above-tariff compensation and excellent benefits.
