Job Summary

This role is for an IT Support Administrator specializing in User Services within the city administration of Friedrichshafen, a dynamic economic hub on Lake Constance. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for internal IT users across city offices, council members, and schools, supporting a large infrastructure of over 200 servers and 2400 clients across 95 locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd Level Support both remotely and on-site, performing independent fault analysis and resolution for client systems, and managing technical requests via a ticketing system. Key requirements include a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a vocational qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration with several years of professional experience, coupled with excellent knowledge of current Microsoft products, server, firewall, and network fundamentals.
