Job Summary

This role is for an engaged Power Plant Operator to join a leading European producer of fresh fiber cardboard in Baiersbronn, working within a continuous 4-shift system. The primary responsibilities include the control and monitoring of all power plant systems, such as the high-pressure boiler, steam turbine, water treatment, and steam distribution. Day-to-day tasks involve commissioning and decommissioning systems, regularly recording relevant power plant data, and monitoring electricity and gas consumption. A critical component of the job is performing necessary maintenance and repair work, along with operating and regenerating the demineralization plant, including conducting water analyses. Candidates should have completed technical vocational training, preferably as a mechanic or electrician, or possess relevant experience/qualifications as a power plant operator, boiler attendant, or turbine attendant. Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to work autonomously are essential for success in this demanding and varied role.
