Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Specialist to provide critical First and Second-Level Support, ensuring smooth IT operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the IT hotline and ticket system, resolving end-user issues, and administering IT workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals. A key focus will be the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Remote Desktop Servers (RDS), ensuring high availability, performance, and security through patch management and policy implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT vocational qualification (such as IT Specialist for System Integration), significant professional experience in operational IT support, and strong skills in Windows system administration and user account management, including two-factor authentication. This position requires excellent communication skills for direct user contact, a structured, solution-oriented approach, and fluency in German (C1) and good English skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist - System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, IT Management Assistant, or a comparable completed three-year IT vocational qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in operational IT support (First and Second Level)
- Experience in end-user support and incident management
- Experience in setting up, maintaining, and administering Windows systems and specialist applications (including hardware, networks, and mobile devices)
- Experience in handling Remote Desktop environments (RDS)
- Experience in administering Two-Factor Authentication
