Job Summary
This full-time role, based in Plauen within the Vogtlandkreis District Office's Social Welfare Department, focuses on optimizing administrative efficiency through robust technical and financial controlling. The specialist will be crucial in coordinating and implementing strategic and operational goals for the department, primarily through developing, expanding, and automating the monthly reporting system, ensuring high data quality, and implementing data quality management. Key responsibilities also include budget coordination for the Social Welfare sub-budget, which involves drafting budget and financial plans based on plan-actual analyses, continuous monitoring of budget data, and preparing forecasts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Public Administration or Business/Economics, possesses strong controlling methodology skills, and is adept at analyzing complex data and using standard MS Office applications. This permanent position offers flexible working hours and the option for mobile work, supporting the ongoing digital transformation of public administration.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Laws/General Administration, Bachelor of Arts/Public Management, Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt), Certified Administrative Business Economist, or a degree in Business Administration/Economics. Equivalent or higher qualification in a comparable field required. Foreign degrees require ZAB evaluation.
Experience
- Professional experience and knowledge in Cost and Performance Accounting and/or Controlling (Ideally)
- Experience in independent analysis and interpretation of extensive data material
