Job Summary
This role involves driving the future of public service by planning, steering, and implementing crucial digitalization and E-Government projects within a municipal wastewater utility. The Digitalization Officer will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and documenting administrative and operational processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and internal guidelines. Key tasks include introducing, managing, and training staff on new software solutions, such as DMS d.3 and workflow systems, while leveraging innovative technologies, including AI-supported tools, to boost efficiency. The ideal candidate acts as the central coordinator for digitalization, bridging the gap between specialized departments, IT, and the executive board, and manages the central contract management system. This position requires a background in administration or technology, strong project management skills, and fluent German proficiency, offering a secure, permanent role in the public sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or Bachelor's degree; Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), successful completion of Employee Training Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II), Technician, or comparable qualification.

- Professional experience in the public service sector

- Experience in the digitalization of administrative processes
- Knowledge in the development and maintenance of legal registers (beneficial)
