Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth, continuous operation of an industrial heating power plant located at the Giershagen site. The Power Plant Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the power generation processes from the control room, conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of the facilities, and preparing fuels using existing processing equipment. Key responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions, performing minor repairs, and managing operational data logging and protocol creation. Candidates must possess a completed mechanical or electrical technical vocational qualification, strong technical and logical thinking, and the willingness to work in shifts, including covering for colleagues during leave. Completed mechanical or electrical technical vocational qualification
Experience
- Completed vocational training in a mechanical or electrical field
- Readiness to work in shifts and provide coverage during illness/vacation
- Willingness to undergo internal and potentially external training to become a certified Power Plant Operator or Boiler Attendant (Kesselwärter)
