Job Summary
The City of Eggesin is seeking a Head of the Finance Department to lead the financial sector, encompassing treasury, cash management, accounting, taxes, levies, and building management. This leadership role involves developing policies for sound household management, preparing budget and financial planning, annual accounts, and consolidated financial statements. Key responsibilities also include budget monitoring, debt management, financial and participation controlling, and handling municipal financial equalization matters. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant university degree or equivalent qualification (such as a Certified Accountant/Bilanzbuchhalter) and proven administrative experience. Strong leadership skills, proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a high degree of reliability and flexibility are essential for success in this critical public sector role.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Fachhoch-/Hochschulstudium) in non-technical administrative services or equivalent (Angestelltenlehrgang II) with additional qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/in), or a degree such as Diplom-Finanzwirt/in.
