Job Summary

This role is vital for shaping the future of energy supply by joining the Asset Management Team of a major municipal utility company. The Electrical Engineer will focus on planning and developing medium-voltage networks, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the energy transition, including the integration of decentralized generation systems like wind and PV, and new consumption patterns such as e-mobility. Key responsibilities include conducting network analyses, performing load flow calculations to assess network capacity and security, and rigorously reviewing network connection requests for renewable energy systems against EU Netcodes and VDE FNN application rules. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, professional experience in network planning, and proficiency in specialized network calculation software like DIgSILENT PowerFactory or PSS®SINCAL. This position offers an opportunity to actively contribute to technical specifications and regulatory frameworks, ensuring a safe and sustainable energy supply for the region.
