Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Automation Engineer to connect people and technology, driving high-level solutions for industry clients. Day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on the lifecycle of production plant controls, including programming new components, expanding and optimizing existing modules, and adapting PLC programming to meet evolving requirements. A significant part of the job involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing machinery, and performing independent setup and commissioning on-site, alongside continuous process optimization and documentation creation. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or a certified Technician qualification, coupled with initial experience in automation and control technology, particularly using Simatic Step7. Success in this position requires a structured, reliable, and independent work style, along with proficiency in both German and English.
