Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated Chemical Plant Construction Engineer or Process Engineer looking to manage complex projects within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning, execution, and processing of chemical engineering projects, including developing necessary approval documents, detailed cost estimations, and comprehensive project plans. The engineer will also be responsible for monthly status reporting, coordinating interfaces between clients, suppliers, and internal departments, and assisting with contractor tender processes and awards. A key aspect of the role is contributing to the creation and revision of standard operating procedures and process standards. Candidates should hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or possess equivalent technical qualifications, coupled with professional experience in plant construction, ideally within the chemical or pharmaceutical sector. Strong German and good English skills are required for effective communication and documentation.
