Job Summary

This role as a Chemical Laboratory Technician offers an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognized leader in large diesel engines and turbomachinery based in Augsburg, Germany. The primary responsibilities involve executing testing orders within operational fluid analysis, including cooling water, fuels, and oils. Day-to-day tasks require the use of advanced instrumental analysis techniques, such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES), Ion Chromatography (IC), and Photometry, alongside traditional wet chemical methods. You will be responsible for meticulous mechanical and chemical sample preparation, as well as accurately recording and documenting all experimental data. Candidates should possess completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant. Prior experience in instrumental analysis, including chromatography, titration, thermogravimetry, or mineral oil analysis, is highly desirable. Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory databases, coupled with basic written and spoken English skills, is essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.
