Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Software Developer specializing in medical imaging technology, based in Forchheim, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle development and maintenance of image algorithms for medical X-ray products, including mammography, radiography, and fluoroscopy. Key daily tasks involve developing, implementing, and validating software for clinical 2D and 3D imaging and diagnosis, integrating modern methods such as AI and data-driven quality monitoring. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Physics and possess significant professional experience in medical image processing. Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis/Design, Design Patterns, and C++ programming is essential, along with experience in structured software testing methods like Test-Driven Development (TDD).
