Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as a Materials Tester, based in Plettenberg, involves performing critical quality control tasks on forged components for an industrial client. Daily responsibilities include conducting hardness tests using standard procedures such as Rockwell, Vickers, and Brinell methods. A significant part of the role involves non-destructive testing, specifically crack detection using magnetic particle inspection and dye penetrant testing. Candidates will also be responsible for metallographic examinations and preparing samples for analysis.
