Job Summary

This role involves shaping the architecture and requirements of highly complex electrical and electronic (E/E) systems within military land vehicles for a renowned client in Kiel. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for analyzing requirements based on use cases, deriving system specifications, and creating electrical subsystem specifications and artifacts according to the V-Model. Daily activities include developing and optimizing system solutions for functionality, integration, and reliability, coordinating closely with project teams, and ensuring the technical implementation and maturity of system artifacts through structured documentation and traceability across the development lifecycle. This position requires expertise in requirements management, system analysis using tools like DOORS, and offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge defense technology.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products
  • Practical experience with DOORS
  • Practical experience with Use-Case analysis using UML/SysML
  • Experience with system architectures and system development according to the V-Model (advantageous)
  • Experience with military or automotive standards (advantageous)
