Job Summary

Kraken Power GmbH, a leader in marine technology and part of the international Kraken Robotics Inc., is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Rostock. This role focuses on developing the next generation of underwater battery and power electronics systems for deep-sea research and underwater vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end electronic development, including PCB design, integrating sensors, and advancing Battery Management Systems (BMS). Day-to-day tasks involve designing electronic circuits, implementing concepts for power electronics and thermal management, and connecting microcontrollers (e.g., STM32) using various communication interfaces. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of professional experience, along with expertise in PCB design tools and battery technology.
