Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated IT Operations Engineer to ensure the high availability of critical services through robust monitoring and swift incident management. Daily tasks involve monitoring and troubleshooting services within a mandated two-shift system, supporting Service Owners with operational duties, and coordinating technical faults involving multiple parties. A crucial aspect of this position is participating in on-call duty (Rufbereitschaft) and executing qualified initial measures within ITIL-based Incident, Request, and Change processes. Candidates must possess several years of professional experience, strong knowledge of monitoring/observability tools like Grafana and Icinga, and expertise in Linux/Windows operating systems, network technologies, and hybrid IT infrastructure. The position is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Nuremberg, offering hybrid work flexibility and requiring fluent German skills to handle critical communications effectively.
