Job Summary

This role involves managing the coordination, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, specifically onboard newly built ships, for an international energy corporation. The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality standards are met while coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the shipyard and suppliers. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting installation issues, diagnosing faults, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring compliance with all relevant norms (VDE, CE) and safety regulations. Furthermore, the role requires providing technical guidance and coordination to team members, controlling work results, and promoting employee development. The ideal candidate must possess a technical background in Electrical Engineering, relevant experience in site management for large industrial or offshore projects, and strong communication skills in both German and English. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Berne.
