Job Summary

This role as a Medium Voltage Protection Technician places you at the critical intersection of technology, project management, and customer interaction, focusing primarily on renewable energy projects like PV plants, transformer stations, and battery storage. Your core responsibilities involve executing protection and functional tests on medium voltage systems, meticulously checking protection relays, and accurately documenting results. You will be responsible for commissioning protection devices, testing remote control systems, and analyzing complex measurement data to optimize system performance and determine appropriate protection settings. To succeed, you must possess a completed electrical qualification, ideally complemented by further training as a Master or Technician in Electrical Engineering, and hold a Class B driver’s license. This position requires extensive travel across Germany, Austria, and occasionally Italy, making a reliable and independent work ethic essential for managing diverse and challenging projects within the rapidly growing fields of e-mobility and integrated energy solutions.
