Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Embedded Software Developer focusing on mobility systems for military land vehicles in Munich. The developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development using C++ on microcontrollers, specifically the TI Hercules family. Key tasks include developing functional vehicle software and hardware testing software, participating in requirements analysis, reviewing hardware designs, and planning initial HW/SW commissioning. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, solid experience with modern C++, Unit Tests, CI tools like Jenkins, and familiarity with tools such as BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence. A strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals, including understanding analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, and communication protocols like CAN-Bus and Ethernet, is essential for success in this interdisciplinary team environment. This is a crucial role driving test automation and continuous process improvement within a dynamic team.
