This role involves leading the implementation and continuous operation of an Energy Management System for the municipality of Mandelbachtal, focusing on sustainable development and climate protection. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining software-supported energy controlling for systematic data capture and analysis across all municipal properties, identifying potential savings, and initiating optimization measures for technical building systems. The manager will independently develop projects, secure necessary funding for energy-efficient renovations, assist with strategic energy procurement, and prepare regular energy reports for political decision-makers. Key requirements include a university degree in a relevant engineering field (like Energy or Building Services Engineering) and foundational knowledge in energy management, building physics, and technical building equipment. This is a three-year fixed-term, full-time position offering an engaging and varied role within a modern municipal administration.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master / Bachelor / Diploma) in Energy Technology, Building Services Engineering, Supply Engineering, Electronics, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable field. Additional qualification as an Energy Consultant is advantageous.

Experience
